BY CAR -  The postcode for your SAT NAV is B48 7SB and the address is The Ark, St Laurence Church, School Lane, Alvechurch, Worcestershire. Please note - some SAT NAV's say "you have reached your destination" half way up School Lane, but you need to go to the very end of School Lane and turn RIGHT (follow the sign for CHURCH / ARK /  THE LAWNS).

 

Directions from the south (WORCESTER AREA) - M5  to junction 4a, exit onto M42 toward M1/London/M40, at junction 2, take the A441 exit to Birmingham (S). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A441 heading to Birmingham. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Redditch Road/B4120 continue to follow B4120 then turn LEFT into School Lane (this is a small one way Lane before you get into Alvechurch). At the end of the Lane turn RIGHT (follow the sign for CHURCH / ARK / THE LAWNS). You will see the entrance gates to St Laurence Church. Drive through the gates and bear left down the drive to The Ark. There is ample free parking.

 

Directions from the north (BIRMINGHAM AREA) - From the A441 pass Hopwood (M42 junction), at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Redditch Rd/B4120. Turn right into Bear Hill. Near the top of the hill turn left signposted for the Church.  You will see the entrance gates to St Laurence Church. Drive through the gates and THE ARK is down the drive on your left. There is ample free parking.

 

BY TRAIN - Direct services run every 30 minutes from Birmingham New Street to Alvechurch. This journey takes approx 30 minutes.

 

ON FOOT FROM ALVECHURCH STATION - Exit the station and turn right (Station Road). Turn right into School Lane. Left on this path passing the Lawns and you will see the Church and The Ark to your left. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the station.
